A new initiative being launched this month is a campaign to target start up businesses in the local area.  A letter will be sent to these companies and a newly developed business start up guide will be made available to them as a free download from the website. 

With the introduction of Xero on line accounting software to the practice we will be launching our on line accounting service to clients and potential clients this month. This is an innovative service, which will provide clients with a unique tool to access their accounts information on a 24.7 basis. Darren is heading this project and we will keep you informed as clients take up the service.

Our website continues to attract lots of new visitors and is averaging over 1500 unique visitors every month.  Google ranks the site highly and we are page 1 for most searches relating to accountants services in Southend and Basildon.

Our monthly e-newswire is being sent to all clients and contacts for which we have an email address and is well received.

This month also sees the launch of our presence on the Social Media platform.  A daily weekday blog will be posted on our website which will also feed into our company Facebook and LinkedIn pages.  In addition we are now also on Twitter and are posting 3 tweets per day on relevant business issues.

We continue to be featured in the local press and the latest releases can be viewed on the website. Cuttings of published releases are held in the reception area

Our focus for new business is geared towards businesses currently with Top 50 firms, GP Practices and Legal firms. New brochures for the legal and GP targets have been produced and feature a number of client testimonials from existing clients in this sector that are very satisfied with our service.

We have a number of events planned for the final quarter of this year and also into 2011. The events schedule is available to see on the website.

We continue to promote the value of wealth management to our clients and in working with the team at RKFS have a regular series of newsletters being sent to clients. In additional RKFS participate in our events programme and are on hand to meet with clients at our offices in both Southend and Basildon.

Measuring client satisfaction continues to be an important part of the marketing and each month we conduct surveys with a selection of clients who have received their final accounts in the preceding month. The survey identifies any issues they may have with our service and also provides a platform to express their positive comments about us.
