Deadline for tax payments
We would like to remind our clients that 31 January 2011 marks a number of key tax deadlines:
- Final submission date for 2010 self-assessment tax returns (where these were issued by 31st October 2010 and are delivered electronically).
- Balancing payment due for 2009/2010 personal tax.
- First payment on account due in respect of 2010/2011 personal tax.
It is important to ensure any tax due is paid ahead of this deadline, as HMRC will charge interest and may levy a penalty for late payment.
For more information please contact us. |

Exam success for Martin

|
Another member of the team at Rickard Keen had cause to celebrate recently when he passed the final stage of his professional exams, meaning he is now a fully-qualified chartered accountant.
|
Martin Crane, who works in our Basildon office as an accounts senior, completed the advanced stage examinations to become a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales – ICAEW.
Martin joined the firm in October 2005 and initially achieved his Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) exams before progressing to the ICAEW.
Martin is a valued member of our team and we are confident he has a great future ahead of him. |
