Premiership Trophy Comes To Southend
Clients and contacts of Essex-based chartered accountancy firm Rickard Keen LLP will be able to live out their football fantasies and get their hands on the Premiership trophy during a networking event in Laindon next month.
Rickard Keen has teamed up with their Southfields Business Park neighbours – and Premiership sponsors – Barclays to host the get-together, at Barclays’ offices at Southfields on Monday, 1 February.
Aimed at larger companies in the town, it is hoped the guests will take the opportunity to get to know one another, making valuable contacts which could be useful at a later date. They will also be invited to make their predictions on the economy for the year ahead, which will be reviewed at a similar event in the future and prizes awarded.
Rickard Keen partner Noel Kelleway said: “Southfields is a good-sized business park with a wide range of companies, and we realised that we didn’t know many of our neighbours very well, and Barclays were in the same boat.
“We had the idea to host a networking event, and Barclays getting hold of the trophy for the day is an added bonus, which I’m sure will help a few visitors fulfil a lifetime’s dreams.
“We have invited along all the companies based at Southfields and our own clients and contacts from the surrounding area, and if anyone else would like to join us, they would be welcome.”
