Rickard Keen On Accountancy Awards Shortlist
Partners and staff at Essex-based accountancy firm Rickard Keen are celebrating after being shortlisted for a prestigious local award.
The firm has reached the final stage of the Accountancy Firm of the Year category at this year’s Essex Accounting and Business Awards 2010, which are organised by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
In order to be considered for the award, the firm first had to submit a written entry, setting out its values, successes and future growth prospects. After making the final shortlist, it was then visited by representatives of the sponsors on behalf of the District Society who interviewed partner Noel Kelleway in more detail.
The Rickard Keen team will find out whether they have been successful at an awards ceremony on 20 May.
Noel said: “We have a long and proud history in the Essex area, and so it is great to get recognition from our local branch of the ICAEW.
“We’re very pleased to have been shortlisted but are hoping to go one step further and take home the title on 20 May.”
