Rickard Keen Is Top Essex Accountancy Firm
Essex-based accountancy firm Rickard Keen had cause to celebrate last night (Thursday, 20 May) after winning the inaugural Accountancy Firm of the Year award from the South Essex branch of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
The firm, which has branches in Basildon and Southend, received the honour after submitting a written entry, outlining its values, successes and future growth prospects, and then undergoing a personal visit by representatives of the award’s sponsors.
On the night of the awards ceremony, Rickard Keen was competing against a number of other accountancy firms, including some of the big-name national brands, which have a presence in the area.
Partner Noel Kelleway, who collected the award on behalf of the firm, said: “I was hopeful that we would perhaps get a highly commended, but to have won the overall title is a great honour for us and a tribute to the hard work of all of the team here.
“While I am well aware of the excellent service we provide for our clients, to have this acknowledged by an outside body such as the ICAEW is great news for the firm, and I am delighted that we have been recognised in this way.”
