Rickard Keen tax manager presented with prestigious industry award
A Tax Manager at Essex-based chartered accountancy firm Rickard Keen LLP has been awarded a prestigious Certificate of Merit from the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT).
Sue Chipperfield, a member of CIOT, was presented the certificate for playing a crucial role in the workings of the Institute.
She received the certificate from CIOT President Anthony Thomas during the 12th Chartered Tax Advisers Address held in Westminster.
Sue, who has worked at Rickard Keen since 1989, manages a tax team of four who are dedicated to providing tax services and preparing personal and corporate tax returns for its clients.
Managing Partner at Rickard Keen, Alan Worsdale, praised Sue for her "outstanding" achievement.
He said: "The CIOT is the leading professional body in the UK for advisers dealing with all aspects of taxation.
"To be awarded a Certificate of Merit from such a respected body is an outstanding achievement for Sue.
"She has worked tirelessly over the years for both the Institute and Rickard Keen and is now one of the most respected and admired tax advisors in the region.
"We are proud that Sue is a key part of our firm."
Sue, who is also a member of ATT, STEP, the Essex Branch Committee of CIOT and the Anglia Branch Committee of Working Together Group, said: "I was extremely honoured to receive the award from CIOT President Anthony Thomas.
"I value my work with the CIOT and the other professional bodies of which I am a member.
"I would like to thank the Institute for this award, and Rickard Keen for their support."
