Exam success for Oliver
An accountant at Rickard Keen's Southend office is celebrating after passing his final Chartered Accountant exams at the first attempt.
Oliver Hawes took his finals in November and is now a qualified ACA with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
Oliver joined Rickard Keen in 2008 after obtaining a law degree from the University of Liverpool.
In his spare time he is a member of the Southend Brass Band playing tuba and trumpet, he is also a keen Southend United supporter.
He said: "It has taken me years of hard work to finally complete this leading business and finance qualification which is recognised throughout the world.
"Understandably I am absolutely thrilled to have passed my finals first time and would particularly like to thank everyone at Rickard Keen who have helped me throughout the course."
Alan Worsdale, managing partner at the firm, said: "We are delighted that Oliver is now a fully fledged Chartered Accountant.
"He has worked really hard to pass all his exams and we are extremely proud of his achievement.
